Daniel Morris, LCSW, CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist)
Bachelor of Science Degree in Theatre Arts. During his college years,
he worked with The Medicine Show Theatre Ensemble in New York
City.

Participation in The Medicine Show cultivated his awareness of how
human attachment and identity can create energy that is referred to,
in theatrical terms, as “magic”. The drama associated with theatrical
arts weaves the audience and players together in community.

In 1982, he graduated from the University of Albany with a Master’s
Degree in Social Work. The past 29 years have been a labor of love
while he has worked with individuals, couples, and families. Dan also
has extensive experience working with groups.

In 1993, with co-founder Robert Meadows, LCSW, Dan began treating
sex addicts at the Kavod Addiction Recovery Center. He is also a
member of the Community Advisory Board for AIDS Clinical Trials,
HIV Vaccine Trials and the Pediatric HIV Program at the University of
Rochester Medical Center.

In 2011, he received certification from the International Institute for
Trauma and Addictions Professionals (IITAP.COM) as a certified sex
addiction therapist (CSAT).
